Vision
The Environment & Natural Resource Vision for CMAP is to:
- promote ecological awareness and stewardship of environmental resources,
- support regional collaboration and support adoption of best practices
Committee Charge
The charge to this committee is to provide advisory input to the CMAP board on proposed regional plans, projects, and policies by:
- Providing the Board with guidance that conveys an environment and natural resource based perspective,
- Provide environment and natural resource expertise and input to conduct effective land use and transportation planning, and
- Prioritize environment and natural resource projects, identify and understand regional needs, challenges and solutions.

Committee Makeup
The current make up of the committee includes representatives from academia; federal; state and local resource and regulatory agencies; local land management agencies; stormwater, watershed, and wastewater planning agencies; local municipal and county government representatives; and environmental advocacy and policy agencies.
