June 26, 2024 Introducing the new CMAP website The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) is excited to announce that our new website is live! CMAP’s updated website features a new, modern design with user-friendly navigation as well as improved accessibility, interactivity, and search functionality. The new website will be able to change and grow with our achievements and as we tackle new challenges in the region. We continue to promote and implement ON TO 2050, but are already working on its successor plans, including the Regional Transportation Plan and Climate Action Plan. On the new website, you’ll find an improved navigation designed to showcase CMAP’s major areas of work and services to reduce the clicks needed to get where you want to go. Pages include integrated data, resources, and related information that show the interconnectivity of various aspects of regional planning. Be sure to check out Focus areas: Learn what CMAP does Community Data Snapshots: A new viewer for the Community Data Snapshots gives you a preview of the wealth of information in the documents in easy-to-understand charts and graphs Community projects: Is CMAP working on a project in your community? Find out more on the community projects page Calendar: The redesigned calendar includes CMAP public meetings, trainings, and public engagement events Tell us what you think After you explore the website, we’d love to hear what you think!
