Creating a more efficient and safe regional transportation system

The Transportation Technology and Operations Coalition (TTOC) is a forum for transportation professionals throughout northeastern Illinois to discuss a variety of topics, including:

  • Coordinated management and operation of transportation infrastructure, resources, and services
  • Intelligent transportation system (ITS) infrastructure and funding opportunities
  • Electric vehicle infrastructure and adoption
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Performance measure tracking

The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) created the coalition to help achieve a more efficient and safe regional transportation system, as identified in ON TO 2050, the comprehensive plan for northeastern Illinois.
