CMAP purchases professional services, technical expertise, and other goods and services to support its planning and implementation work

The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) posts requests for proposal (RFPs), requests for qualification (RFQs), and requests for quotes (RFQts) throughout the year. Most projects are funded through federal or state grants and involve partnerships with local governments or public agencies.

• Community engagement and facilitation
• Data analysis, geographic information systems (GIS), and modeling
• Planning and policy consulting
• Project management
• Research, writing, and design services
• Technical assistance and implementation support

Respondent requirements

• Be able to obtain required insurance and/or bonding
• Be in good standing with the State of Illinois
• Be registered and active in SAM.gov
• Have a CAGE code
• Have a unique entity identifier (UEI)
• Have no ethical or financial conflicts of interest
• Not be debarred or suspended by any government entity

Proposals are evaluated based on the understanding of the project, relevant experience and qualifications, as well as cost and overall value.
