April 23, 2025 Transportation Improvement Program conformity analysis open for public comment through May 23, 2025 The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) released a conformity amendment to the FFY 2025-29 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). This amendment is open for public comment, from Tuesday, April 22 to Friday, May 23. Conformity analysis is part of the transportation modeling process that evaluates the impact on air quality of projects in the ON TO 2050 plan update and the FFY 2025-29 TIP, as amended. On-road vehicle emissions are reviewed to determine that the region will reach national ambient air quality goals. Please review the ON TO 2050/TIP Conformity Analysis and TIP Amendment 25-08 and 25-08.1. Comments regarding the individual TIP conformity amendments may be submitted to CMAP by mail, email (transportation@cmap.illinois.gov), or phone (312-454-0400).
