November 9, 2023 Accessibility training materials available online Thank you to the more than 130 attendees who joined CMAP and our regional partners for the fall accessibility training series. Learning about accessibility compliance — and putting those lessons into practice — are important steps toward making our region more inclusive and ensuring it continues to receive critical transportation funding. The trainings covered the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title II, Illinois Accessibility Code, the role of ADA coordinators, self-evaluations, and transition plans. Updated materials from the fall trainings are available online for all four modules, as well as captioned recordings of our spring trainings. Learn more about CMAP’s accessibility work and stay tuned for information on trainings in 2024.
