The Will County Division of Transportation along with their partners, the Illinois Department of Transportation, the Village of Channahon, and the City of Joliet, have initiated a preliminary engineering and environmental study (Phase I) of U.S. 6 from the I‑55 East Frontage Road to Terminal Court in Joliet and Channahon, Will County.
