July 9, 2024 New accessibility training recordings available on CMAP website Video recordings and materials from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning’s (CMAP) new accessibility training workshops are available in CMAP’s library of training materials. The two workshops cover: Public Right-of-way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG) Illinois Accessibility Code Other topics available, all with closed captioning and American Sign Language translation, include: Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Title II ADA coordinator ADA self-evaluation and accessible design standards ADA transition plans We want to thank everyone who attended these in-person trainings, the communities that hosted sessions, and the presenters who shared their expertise. Together, we’ve taken meaningful steps toward making northeastern Illinois more accessible and inclusive.
